Head of Operations

Student of Law (BLaw) at the UZH since 2009.
"Being a law student with special interest in public international law, it is fascinating for me to link my subject with diplomacy and international policies. That is why I didn’t hesitate to join the MUN Team University of Zurich when I heard of it for the first time in 2010. Since then I have been attending the weekly sessions with big interest and a lot of enthusiasm and also enjoyed participating in the Swiss wide JunesMUN 2011 conference. Not only has MUN extended my knowledge on diplomacy, international policies and the system of the United Nations as well as improved my English and my negotiation skills, but it also gave me a lot on a social level: through MUN I met great new people that make the weekly sessions and the beer in the aftermath even more interesting and entertaining. After all those great experiences I decided to be part of the Board and to take over the position of Head of Operations. This position covers the organization of the weekly sessions, choosing the topics for debate, naming the chair and the co-chair and any other activity necessary to guarantee great sessions. This is especially important as these sessions are one of the first things to be seen by rookies and are also designed to be good practice and training for our delegations at MUN conferences. Like my predecessor I will try my best to achieve these goals and I’m looking forward to having a great year with the rest of the MUN Team!"
